Unified AV Systems Achieves InfoComm International AV Provider of Excellence Distinction

 LOCATION June 12, 2015 – Unified AV Systems has qualified as an InfoComm International AV Provider of Excellence, or APEx. The InfoComm APEx program is a marketing recognition program for integration companies and AV design consulting firms dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to customers.

The InfoComm APEx program recognizes companies based on the number of employees holding key industry certifications, including InfoComm’s CTS credential, completion of continuing education classes, and positive customer survey responses. APEx providers must also prove that they meet or exceed the requirements within 2 ANSI/INFOCOMM standards, the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard, to foster better communication between the AV provider and the client.

Barry Goldin Promoted to President of Unified AV Systems, Inc.

Atlanta, GA – Unified AV Systems, Inc. June 18, 2014 – Barry Goldin has been promoted to President of Unified AV Systems. Barry has been in the ProAV industry of Audio-Visual and Video Systems Integration for over 20 years. During this time he has held various roles starting in engineering, sales, sales management and operations. Barry joined the Unified AV Systems team in February of 2013 as Chief Operating Officer.

Barry GoldinIn his new role as President, Mr. Goldin will be responsible for the execution of board-level strategies, daily operations, and implementation and oversight of policies and procedures.

Jim Pressley, Unified AV’s Board Chairman and former CEO will center on strategic planning, key account support, banking and financial relationships. Bruce Banbury, Founder/Director and former President of the company, will continue to support key accounts, mentor and develop the sales team, identify new vertical markets and sales opportunities.
