Barry Goldin, President
A veteran of the AV industry, since 1990, Barry has served in many roles including: engineering, sales, sales management, and operations management.
CTS certified, he is an active volunteer in the industry, recently completing 5 years of service on the Board of Directors of InfoComm International. Additionally Barry served 8 years as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Communications Industries Foundation and was proud to serve as its President for two years.
Mark Fennel, CFO
Mark has proudly served Unified AV Systems and related companies since 1997. After graduating from the University of Memphis with a Master’s Degree in Financial Accounting, Mark has enjoyed a career with UAVS holding positions of Assistant Controller, Controller and currently CFO. Today he manages all aspects of Unified AV Systems’ shared services, treasury, financial reporting and budgeting.
Ed Olsen, VP-Managed Services
Ed Olsen began his career in AV 24 years ago starting in rental and staging and has since grown with the industry through the roles of field engineer, project manager, systems programmer, and engineering director.
Ed holds CTS and Crestron certification and has thorough in-depth working knowledge of AV systems technology. Ed’s educational background is in business management and engineering. Drawing from these two foundations has allowed Ed to effectively lead the Unified AV team with strong business acumen and technical credibility.

Tom brought his experience in construction and sales management to the AV industry in 2001. Learning the AV business from the ground up he has held positions in installation, Project Management, Special Projects and supporting AV standards for key enterprise clients. Tom joined the Senior Leadership Team as a Senior Vice President in 2015, helping leadership in development of the project management office. He is currently serving as the Sales and Branch manager in the Greenville, SC location.
Amy Truitt, VP-PMO
Amy began her career both with the company and the industry in 1999. She has handled several roles including Sales, but spent a majority of her career as Director of Purchasing & Billing and was awarded the President’s Club MVP for Administration. She managed this role for over 17 years. In June of 2016, she was promoted to VP-PMO, where she is now managing the Project Management Office of Unified AV Systems.
With 26 years of industry experience in AV and IT, Scott has spent the past 19 of those years at Unified AV Systems. Currently holding the title of Sr. Vice President of Technical Services, Scott has also played major roles in Installation, Service, Engineering, IT and Project Management.
Having served on multiple task force committees with InfoComm International, Scott also has the distinct honor of holding all three of their major certifications; CTS,CTS-I and CTS-D. In addition to this, Scott is an active participant in various other manufacturer and industry forums.
